According to a report from a local television station in Grand Rapids, Michigan, former Michigan quarterback Tate Forcier had a strange episode in an apartment complex one month ago that resulted in the quarterback being hospitalized.

[UPDATE: The Associated Press has also received a copy of the police report and confirms the details.]

The report says that police had to be called to an apartment complex in Grand Rapids where his girlfriend lives on April 22nd after Forcier was reportedly hanging out of a window. An unspecified woman then called police concerned that Forcier was going to jump.

No one will confirm whether this was a suicide attempt, but the police report says the woman who called was concerned Forcier would jump from the window.

Officers were able to get Forcier to open the bedroom door. He was not arrested, but transported to a hospital.

GRPD released a report, redacting several details. When contacted, officers would not provide additional details, citing medical privacy laws.

Forcier had been the starter at Michigan in 2009, but was replaced by Denard Robinson in 2010 and did get plenty of playing time with the Wolverines. He was then ruled academically ineligible before Michigan's loss in the Gator Bowl, and did not play in the game. Shortly after that Forcier announced he was transferring from Michigan, and had decided to go to Miami before it was announced earlier this month that he was leaving Miami as well.

You are so right, again Sportsline puts up an article about a loser, as P.O.S., a nobody, a person who thinks he is too good and his sh#t does not smell.  So sick of this kid and his brothers, they have their own website telling everyone who cool they are, well they suck!!  Stop publishing this crap and lets move on to some real sportsnews.

Im not even reading this article because this guy is not news.  It's like making an article about the homeless guy who sits outside my office building.  Tate Forcier is damn sure not special.

Stop writting about this guy because outside of his family no-one really cares what happens to this guy.  Little media craving crack weasel.

Forcier is your basic "mama's boy" or "daddy's boy".  He was spolied rotten while he was in high school.  Everyone in the San Diego area thought he was the next coming of Tom Brady.  Unfortunately, Forcier more like Matt Cassell in his college days at USC.  So Forcier, spoiled brat that he is, decides to leave Michigan because he is no longer the starting QB.  He decides on Miami, then changes his mind.  It is time for "mama's boy" to go home.  San Diego State is the place for him.  He may actually maintain a 2.0 G.P.A. at that school, and could start for them.  There are also excellent mental facilities in the area in case he has another one of these episodes.

Hero to zero is tough to handle at a young age.  Five years from now maybe he will be the next Chris Weinke, or the next Maurice Clarrett??

Everyone has to remember the fact that these kids went through most of their lives being coddled because of their abilitys.  I am sure this is the first time that he has ever been rejected for anything in his life.  Sad story for a young man that had potential to be something great.

This is Rich-Rods fault.  Michigan was too big of a stage for Tate.  Tate would have thrived at a D-2 school.
