We're still three months away from the 2011 college football season starting, but it's never too early to begin planning your Saturday afternoons this fall. So luckily for you, I'm here to help. CBS announced it's SEC on CBS schedule for the year, along with other games that will be broadcast on CBS, and it features the excellent SEC matchups you've come to expect from CBS.

Here's a look at what you'll be seeing this fall.

- 9/17 Florida vs. Tennessee 3:30PM, ET
- 10/1 SEC Doubleheader 3:30PM, ET and 8PM, ET
- 10/29 Florida vs. Georgia 3:30PM, ET
- 11/12 SEC Doubleheader Noon, ET and 3:30PM, ET
- 11/25 LSU vs. Arkansas 2:30PM, ET
- 12/3 SEC Championship 4PM, ET
- 12/10 Army vs. Navy 2:30PM, ET
- 12/31 Sun Bowl 2PM, ET

As for the Saturdays in between, don't worry, we aren't giving Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson and Tracy Wolfson those Saturdays off. There will be SEC games on CBS those Saturdays, but the matchups will not be announced until six to twelve days before the games. This way we can assure you'll be seeing the best SEC football on CBS every week. The same can be said of the matchups for our two doubleheaders this season.

Now all you have to do is wait three months.

The home team is on the left numnut. Notice how it is LSU vs. Arkansas, and the game is in Baton Rouge. How about Florida vs. Georgia? Florida is considered the home team this year. People just love to prove their idiocy around here, don't they?

How the heck can CBS screw this up? The UF / Tennessee game this year is in Gainesville, NOT Knoxville. I really can't believe that the website of the network carrying the game got it wrong. Please fi the headline & schedule in the article.

I bet that 99% of the hate mail that goes to CBS is due to that grunting animal.

He was HORRIBLE on the NCAA Tournament this last year. It just shows what low standards we have for play-by-play guys when that idiot is on the mike.

I absolutely agree ebonyrod2.  How is it possible they passed up those perrenial power rivalry games?  To compound matters, they hardly considered a whole host of Pac-12 heavy-hitting match-ups also..... How is it possible that national attention is not focused on these mighty match-ups in the pac-12:

Sept 1   Arizona State vs UC-Davis

Sept 3   Oregon St. vs Sacramento State

Sept 3   Washington vs Eastern Washington

Sept 10  Stanford vs Duke

Sept 10  Utah vs Montana State

Sept 17  Colorado vs Colorado State

Sept 17  Oregon vs Missouri State

Sept 17  California vs Presbyterian

Nov 26   Arizona vs Louisianna-Lafayette

Have you ever heard the story that has been told about people that live in glass houses?  If not, I highly reccomend it.
