Oklahoma has been waiting to hear word on the eligiblity of defensive end Ronnell Lewis for a few weeks now. Earlier this week the Sooners found out that incoming freshman wide receiver Trey Metoyer would not be ineligible this semester, and that he was on his to Hargrave Millitary Academy for the fall semester.

Well, the news on Lewis is a bit better, as the school announced on Thursday that Lewis would indeed be eligible to play for the Sooners this fall.

This is very good news for the Oklahoma defense, because while Metoyer was expected to contribute to the Sooners offense this year, Lewis had been penciled in as a starter on the Oklahoma defensive line. So now that he's been declared eligible to play, you can expect to see a lot of him on the field this Saturday against Tulsa

Oklahoma's Ronnell Lewis is eligible

How is that hard to understand? It clearly says he is eligible three times and I see nothing contradicting that in the article.

Correct me if I am wrong, so they are saying he is eligible? I think good ol CBS needs a serious investment in proof readers!!!!!!!
