How bad was Joe Bauserman's evening in Ohio State's choke job at Nebraska? So bad that I saw this possibly facetious "Joe Bauserman Passing Chart" tweeted by OSU partisans @ElevenWarriors...

...and the biggest gripe I had was, "come on, don't try to act like he actually completed three passes."

Yep, Bauserman was 1-10 for 13 yards, and as this chart hilariously overemphasizes, he put a lot of balls in the seats whenever his first read wasn't open. Sure, that's the safe play -- and that's also a great way to blow a double-digit lead, which is exactly what Ohio State did once Bauserman was forced into action.

There's still no word on the status of Braxton Miller's ankle, so Bauserman may have to start at No. 16 Illinois this week. If that happens, here's to hoping Bauserman keeps more of his pass attempts at least in the field of play.

Some type of favoritism must be going on.  There is no way that the 3rd and 4th string qbs could be worse!!!    how do I know.   a drunk, crack addicted chimpazee could complete 1 pass in 10 tries.     this guy is missing receivers by 40 ft, even when he is in a nice pocket.  i have never seen anytning like.   it is positively surreal.   please brax tell us that was just a standard ankle roll, and not a high ankle.  please no distal fib fracture.

I wonder why the qb gets blamed for doing what he's always done, while the defense, which has actually played well this year, implodes and allows four second-half TDs? Yeah, screw this Bauserman guy!

C'mon fickel, is there a reason we can't play Graham or Guiton at quarterback?  I would have to say that if the season is truely gone, then give these two a shot at playing.  It may surprise everyone that how good they really are.  If I'm correct, they were both blue chip recruits right?  There is no reason for the Bucks to fall so fast on offense with all the talent they have.  I would have to say that they are not being coached correctly, and that's quite obvious.  Please come and help our university Gruden.  And as for the others that keep breaking NCAA regulations, cut them from the squad.  You can finish your education here, but you lost the priviledge to play sports for The Ohio State University.  This is not only embarrasing to the university and the fans, but we alum as well, who have paid into the alumni association for years.   So Gordon Gee, please gather up what dignity you have and roll out.  Please take Gene Smith with you as well.  As much as I repected you while at OSU, you're becoming an embarrasment to the entire university and their alum.  Thank you.

I have only one question. How did this guy get a scholarship to begin with. I know this team is very very young but the QB play could not win in any division of college football. This season could be historic, historically bad. Ohio State was outplayed AND outcoached in the second half against Nebraska. And still they should have won if Joe Blow had actually PLAYED QB.
