After being spared his job by the Penn State board of trustees, assistant coach Mike McQueary -- a witness of an alleged sexual assault by former PSU assistant Jerry Sandusky -- will not be on the sidelines on Saturday as his Nittany Lions take on Nebraska in PSU's home finale.

According to a statement released by Penn State on Wednesday, McQueary received "multiple threats," and the Penn State athletic department decided that "it would be in the best interest of all for Assistant Coach McQueary not to be in attendance" for the Saturday game.

McQueary is under fire for reporting the alleged sexual assault to his father and to Joe Paterno, but not the police. Paterno has since been fired, and the two administrators that Paterno then notified face charges of perjury and failure to report child abuse.

McQueary will not coach due to 'multiple threats'

McQueary should not be around kids anymore if he would have gone to POLICE when he saw the rape going on in the shower most all of this would not have happened he chose to keep it with-in the staff at school so he became a part of the whole coverup.

Wouldn't have to go to dad to ask to do the right thing.  This guy is a grown up, well I thought he was.

You'd think he knew right from wrong without having to go to ask his dad.  Wonder if he asked his mom too?

"Morals" down the drain on this one for the entire sick, pathetic bunch. WOW!

Good!  He shouldn't ever be able to coach again due to "NOT" stepping up like a real man would have done.
Heck, I'm a woman, and I would have kicked that sick-O's ass.  Sure wouldn't had to call my dad to get permission. HA!

McQueary shouldn't coach, but for other reason

McQueary should be released. Period.

He has a leadership role and he WATCHED Sandusky rape a child and did nothing. Presumably, he's worked and fraternized with him ever since. Take from that what you will.

, folks. No matter what you think. Set higher standards. Trust me.

McQueary will not coach due to 'multiple threats'

MCQUERRY GETS TO KEEP HIS JOB?  THE STUDENTS THAT WERE RIOTING SHOULD BE RIOTING OUTSIDE OF MCQUERY'S HOUSE.
WHY?  BECAUSE IF MCQUERRY HAD GONE TO POLICE INSTEAD OF BS-ING AROUND WITH THIS SERIEL RAPIST, THEN PERTERNO AND THE OTHERS WOULD STILL HAVE THEIR JOBS.  SO STUDENTS WHO WERE RIOTING, "BLAME THIS ON MCQUERY" THIS CRAP FELL ON HIS SHOULDERS AND HE COWARD OUT.  SIMPLE AS THAT.  I'M PULLING MY KID OUT OF PENN STATE SO FAST RIGHT NOW. END OF THIS SEMESTER IS ALMOST OVER.  1 LESS STUDENT WILL BE THERE FOR SURE. MINE!

PRINCIPLE OF SCHOOL SHOUD BE FIRED AS WELL.  WHO LETS ANOTHER PERSON YANK SOMEONE ELSE'S CHILD OUT OF CLASS UNLESS UN BEKNOWN TO A PARENT?  IS THIS PRINCIPLE A SICK-O TOO? JEEEEEEEEEZ!

McQuery should go, simple as that.  He should go because he allowed this child rapist to go on for as long as he wasn't involved in it.
He turned his head.  What if it was his son?  No morals, no class peice of work he is. This is a coward.

Why is he still there?  Does he know something on the other higher ups there? Is that why?

Maybe he's a whisle blower for some higher up's there at Penn state, and he's allowed to keep his job for his loyalty.
I don't know but whatever is going on there I think federal should get involved.  Last I heard there was some child trafficing involved.

McQuery you need to go. effective today.  BOYCOTT PENN STATE IF MCQUERRY IS ALLOWED TO STAY!  PLEASE!

No different than a terrorist attack.  It was an attack on the children. I'm sure they were terrorfide.

Come on people, BOYCOTT THE REMAINING SEASON IF MCQUERRY IS ALLOWED TO STAY ONLY.

McQueary will not coach due to 'multiple threats'

Clearly McQueary shouldn't be on the sidelines, not due to the threats, but just because it isn't right to have a child rapist enabler on the sidelines!! I don't even know how anyone, anyone!! Can witness what McQueary witnessed and do nothing! Read the grand jury report, disgusting stuff and he just walks away! Doesn't try to stop Sandusky, doesn't call the cops, doesn't pull the kid away to safety, doesn't yell, scream or otherwise make a fuss to draw attention and get immediate help? What is wrong with this guy? The only reason he's still employed at PSU is because they want to keep him under wraps until they get his testimony in a trial of Sandusky, after that, he'll be let go faster than a hot potato.

McQueary will not coach due to 'multiple threats'

Joe Paterno could have called the police after his discussion with McQueary, but it was going to have to be McQueary that would have had to actually talk to a DA and the police.   Heresay is not permissable and that is all that Paterno would have been calling the police with as evidence.  Honestly, if this guy wouldnt have even opened the door to this being swept under the rug by going to Paterno with this and gone to the police instead...it might have all turned out quite differently.  Going to Paterno just started the "keeping it in house" ball rolling.  It was a game of hot potato, with each person kicking it up one further rung of the ladder until the Uni President and AD decided to revolk Sandusky's child guests on campus priveledges and hoping it would go away.  With all the other people that lost their jobs, I really dont see how this guy gets to keep his.  I mean "failure to report child abuse" seems to cover Paterno, Spanier, Curley AND McQueary, if you interpret it at meanings reporting to the legal authorities.
