BCS bowl picks and more: Who Do You Like?

Since the very first Rose Bowl, every bowl game by definition has been an end-of-season inter-conference matchup to see how the conferences stack up against each other. To arbitrarily pluck two teams from the same conference and drop them into a "bowl" game is a mockery of hundreds of years of tradition. To call that game the "National Championship" is 100% pure BULL****. Boycott the game.

Who will "what" between LSU and Alabama? Do you mean who will "win"? The grammar on this website is horrible. But I do like the previous comment...."Who cares?" Does any of it even matter this year? With no playoff, what does it matter if you win or lose? Its obvious that its all about the money. The two teams in the Cotton Bowl are both ranked higher than all four teams in the Sugar and Orange and one team in the Rose. These games are no different than a regular season game, because there is no playoff. Every year I watch less and less bowl games, because I want to see competition, not fans in the seats and hot dog sales. Its getting harder and harder to watch. I know football is just a game and not that important, but its bigger than the BCS and I believe the fans will eventually get what they want.

I just want to know everyone's opinion on this... Who else in the top10 do you think would beat Alabama or LSU??

The reason i ask is because look at what they both did to a similar team of OSU in Arkansas with a better defense in my opinion.

Come on, be fair....you're just angry at the results.....take a hard look at the Out of conference play and Bama has a leg up on Ok State...take a look at the fact that the SEC was more balanced than the (not so) Big 12....take a look at the fact that the Big 12 is ALL offense and NO Defense and then take a look at the total resume.

The ONLY reason the Big 12 had a better computer average was because of the 59-46 scores.  Reality check!  Ok State has a great offense, but is #105 in Defense....They LOST to Iowa State.....Bama lost to the number 1 team in the country in OT by 3 points.  They were the only team to hold LSU without a touchdown all year.

Bama has the #1 defense in the land.  They're in the Title game for a reason.....BETTER defense and a good offense.  They have a Heisman Trophy Candidate, the most players on the All-American list...SEC list....come on.....you guys need to get off this for a while...

In the end, all Ok State had to do was beat Iowa State...THAT would have gotten them in.  THEY DIDN'T.....They lost in Week 11 of the Season....if this were the old system, they would have been out as well.

It's all about the 2 BEST, complete teams....and they're in.     &n
