Now that Robert Griffin has officially taken the world over by winning the Heisman Trophy, most people want to know what his next move is going to be. Griffin hasn't really committed one way or the other when it comes to whether or not he'll return to Baylor for another season or enter the NFL draft, but it looks like his parents are taking every precaution.

According to a report by Yahoo's Jason Cole, Griffin's parents have been interviewing prospective agents, and there's a strong chance that Griffin will declare himself eligible for the NFL draft.

Which, as bad as it would be for Baylor, only makes sense for Griffin. While he was a bit of a cult hero coming into the season amongst die-hard college football fans, he had a meteoric rise in notoriety this season culminating in the Heisman win. He's like the Arcade Fire of college football quarterbacks, except that he gets a meaningful award and not a Grammy.

So with that in mind, if Griffin does want to give the NFL a shot, it's hard to see his stock getting any higher than it is at the moment. He's not likely to be the first quarterback taken in the draft, as that will be Andrew Luck, but he's definitely a first round pick and could be the second quarterback taken.

In fact, according to CBSSports.com's mock drafts, Griffin will go in the top ten to either Miami or Cleveland.

So unless Griffin really just wants to spend another year as a college kid -- and given his personality, that's a distinct possibility -- then odds are that the Alamo Bowl will be the last time he plays in a Baylor uniform.

Report: RG3's parents talking to agents

...a redshirted 22 year old...sat more than a year to recover from a torn ACL...surely his track credentials [short distance hurdler of note] added to his speed and elusivness...and his listed size of 6'2", 220 lbs looks a little pumped up...even in pads he looked gangly...

...my point? I suppose nows the best chance to grab a little money before the inevitable season ending injury to come...I really wish the Heisman was an award for Seniors only...Kellen Moore would be more deserving in light of this Juniors jump to the NFL...he played 4 years and went 50 and 3...Tebow came back for his Senior year after his Heisman, and should have gotten way more votes than he did his final college year...

...it'll never happen, but I wonder what sort of wide receiver he might make.  a fast down field threat on every play.

oh well, what could go wrong???...after all, his parents are looking for his agent!!!

Report: RG3's parents talking to agents

RG is the best athlete to come out since Vince Young. Of coarse just like Young, it doesn't mean sucess at the pro level. It's a different game there. Luck is still way ahead of anyone else in this class.

Report: RG3's parents talking to agents

The onething Ihope RG3's parents do is makesure he gets to training camp on time. Oh so many players get involved in the money game. I understand it sometimes involvs a million dollars or more, but they miss seeing the speed of the game, learning the plays, a d moreimportant the coach forgets all about them. IN preseason they get in a game get mauled while holding the ball, lose their confidence. THe coaching staff gets it their heads they play like somebody"s sister, and their career is over.  MOM AND DAD GET YOUR SON TO CAMP IN TIME.
