I am happy with Weeden as I wanted him, just think that we could have gotten him later in the draft.  I was hoping for DeCastro who the Steelers signed.....and then Weeden with a trade up or in the 2nd.  Value wise I think we could have done better, but I think Weeden can be a quality started for 6-7 years.

the options at 37 will be good for offensive line it looks .

i am thinking that they will be counting on Greco to play guard while they slide Pinkston out to right tackle so it wouldnt surprise me if they didnt pick one untill the fourth round or maybe later .

Weedon will be killed by his second week...no O line and he can not scramble to save his life...He can look determined to attempt to walk off the field to his x-ray i guess...

Why is everybody so down on Weeden ? his age wont be a factor IMHO if anything the maturity will help . all those years in minor league baseball has made him mentaly tough .
