I love how Lakers fans (the smartest fans in the history of professional sports) act like teams have the same focus/intensity in the regular season as they do in the playoffs.

The only sport where that happens is maybe football.

On the other hand statement games should be played...the Knicks are streaking and beat the Heat 2 out of 3, both by 20...the Heat smack down would have said you're nothing those first 2 games were practice... Instead they didn't want to risk another loss and giving the Knicks confidence and give more ammo to choke on... When did I say a team has to be focused and intense during the whole regular season...? As a Lakers fan I know all to well, if you recall Shaq would use the regular season as a workout for the playoffs...but there are certain games teams should and most times do get up for...and last night should have been one of them for the Heat...

Peaked too soon? Did you even watch the games on the win streak? The Heat played great basketball in less than half of those games.

I can list the games on the streak where the Heat were outstanding and looked great, and trust me it was less than 10 games

Never said that. What I did say is that from watching every Heat game on the win streak, I know that in a ton of those games (usually against the bad teams) this team played far from their best basketball.

When the Heat are in the finals in June, remind me how they peaked too soon again....Will be a fun conversation to have in the days leading up to game 1 of the NBA finals between the Heat and the Thunder/spurs. 

I really hope the Heat pull off what you Heat lovers have penciled them in to do... If they don't have a ring come June you guys might do a mass suicide...lol

Beating the Knicks last night in the big scheme meant ZERO to Miami.  NY wants to secure a 2 seed so they can AVOID playing Miami for another round.   That about is all that needs to be said.
