did anyone but me think Richardson was as good if not better at Bama.? Nawlens is this guy taking over or does Thomas start.? I don't see Ingram over Thomas, unless he gets injured.
Well I hope he takes over cause I drafted him on my fantasy team and I happened to draft Richardson on my ncaa team.  Judging by how he's doing in the preseason I wouldn't put it past Payton to start him over Thomas.  He's got the goods to do the job!

i never watched richardson, only highlights ingram and him in preseason, so i cant compare the 2, but ingram is in a good situation now with the saints, and hes not gonna light up the measureables, but when i watch ingram, i see i guy running angry with something to prove, and an extremely rare blend of strength, speed, vision, and outstanding balance, hell be good, and should be the starter as long as his knee is fine

efos/voice... appreciate the heads up, I don't draft til the 3rd Sept,so I'll try to catch some Tenacious Ingram of NFL Network pre draft... I mean he is on the Saints, so it puts him in great position for scoring.tks....

Don't know how he is now but I remember Ingram from a few years ago, before he hurt his knee. He was one of the best overall college backs I'd seen in a long time, from an NFL perspective, because he had the strength/size to go along with all of the other high-end RB skills he had. Looking forward to seeing him play now ....

I watched Ingram last night against the Raiders and he looked to be pretty solid, however don't know if you should take him as your first rb pick.  Definately pick him up later if he's still hanging around, then again he could have a year like Arian Foster had last year.  He doesn't look like his knee is bothering him at all.

That's weird he "missed time his senior season at Alabama" considering he left after his junior year...

I got this guy as my #3... watching him run its hard to imagine if this guys on a roll they'll just take him out for nothing. He'll also be able to grind out games and protect the lead in the 4th cuz he doesn't fumble.

Pierre was hurt almost all year last year. Payton and the rest of the organization were questioning his injury, Thats why they drafted Ingram, Thomas will be nothing more than a spell back, had enough of his shit**** last year. Sproles will see more field than thomas, Ingram will be the man. barring injuries.

whyd they give thomas a contract extension this offseason then? i think they plan on using him, but i dont think they trust him to be healthy, and i think ingram will just win the starting gig outright, but p. thomas should play a bit as well

Thomas gets hurt alot. He will probably be hurt by week 4. Ingram should be picked as a number 2 back. If you can get him as you 3rd back, then your in great shape.

Man, the knee thing worries me, but he played through it at ALABAMA. In a keeper league drafted him as my #2RB, so risk involved. ROLL TIDE

got him as my RB3 in the 6th round...the knee worries me, too. but, the upside is tremendous, especially if PT cruiser gets hurt again.

P Thomas is a much better value in the 11th or 12th round.. If both stay healthy I think P Thomas has more total yards and Ingram has a few more TD's..

TD's get you more points unless Thomas has a crap load more yards.

I took a gamble, 10 man league, picked him in 4th round, after picking 3 stud receivers ( Andre J., Megatron, and DeSean J.) Rolling the dice he can bruise behind the 2 pro bowl guards for the Saints. This was a "predict he is the next Ray Rice (style is similar) draft pick" Also have Cedric Benson and Shonn Greene plus a couple #2's. Sean Payton is the best offensive head coach there is. My Aztec sky chart shows the stars will align on this one...
