2010- Virginia Tech (13), Wyoming (108), Oregon State (29), Toledo (92) Average = 60
2007- Weber State (FCS) (184), Washington (55), Wyoming (85), Southern Miss (88) Average = 103
2006- Cal State Sacramento (FCS) (144), Oregon State (20) , Wyoming (72), Utah (46) Average = 70
2005- Georgia (20), Oregon State (58), Bowling Green (77), Portland State (FCS) (120) Average = 68
so they played 5 teams that finished in the top 25 in a 7 year time period (compared to 8 teams ranked 100+.... are we supposed to be impressed?
I don't really want to go through all the numbers but Oregon St went 5-7 in 2010 with no bowl yet finished #29??? I know you're slamming on Boise for these games but many of these teams look to high to me.
I've stated repeatedly that I oppose bringing in UT Martin.
Here is the problem. Otherwise, Boise will play 7 road games and only 5 home games. You can't pay for the stadium expansion doing that. Got any better suggestions, Einstein?
No one loses a dime in a home and home series. Each team keeps its gate and pays the expenses plus a small fee (usually 250k or so) to the other team. A bigger stadium would mean a bigger home take, but neither side "loses money." The reasons that the bigs won't travel is not that they'd lose money, they wouldn't.That must mean you're A.D's a coward, scared to play the skyhawks on their home turf.
Laughable.
I'm on an international vacation, but I'm taking time out of my travels to check in on the CBS football board because that's the lifestyle of a rich and famous Boise fan.
But here you go, I'll give you one last shot to make an intellectually honest argument before declaring you conquered territory and moving on to more stimulating discussion.
But Boise.....
But Boise.....
But Boise.....
I guess I could be like Spinkiller and brag to everyone about my business successes and claim I'm making posts to take the time to hate on Boise from my big, wonderful boat. You know cuz prople really care about that kind of stuff and are really impressed by it. And also cuz it's very relevant to a board concerning Boise State football. Spinkiller has a boat that he brags about constantly - on several different occasions in fact. Yeah sure he has a boat. The dude can't even string together a halfway intelligent sentence or two but he's managed to become oh so successful in his life. Man, you losers just crack me up.Now how would a little "Rookie" like yourself, know anything about my Boat?
Yeah. Okay. Sure you are, Spinkiller. A real life American success story Ladies and Gentlemen - owns a big ole boat and likes to brag about it and everything. Give it up for Spinkiller, an arrogant, idiot OU loser fan who is borderline obsessed and blinded by his hatred of one of the best teams around who punched OU in the face at the Fiesta......and still after all these years he can't accept it, can't get over it. So he makes it his own personal mission to trash on Boise over and over and over again. Pathetic guy. Simply patheticNo sir. What is "pathetic", is a person that is so surprised, awe struck and mystified by success. In fact, it shows your serious lack of that which you are so impressed.
Having a Boat where I live is no big thing, as I have many friends that have one as well. The reason for this is simple, you are too busy whining & crying to reach any real level of commitment to anything in order to reach any true level of success.
In fact, I have many things I imagine you don't have.
So, you keep that jaw on the floor everytime you see a guy that has attained success. It's quite the identifying trait.
Why is it if a Sooner fan talks about Boise they're still mad about 1 game years ago? I doubt they're mad about a single game.
Man-can't we all just get along? Did BSU not punish their fans enough by joining the Big East? Here in a few years will be right back in this boat when the NCAA pulls the Big East auto bid.
Haven't Boise fans been punished enough. We really need to continue running our mouths and pissing off everyone!
When it comes to being unprepared and looking like dog crap in big games, everyone who knows college football knows that nobody does it better than OU.The ACC teams fit that description better than OU does. At least OU has won 7 National titles and they didn't blow any big games along the way to those 7 titles. When Boise State racks up half that many FBS titles you can come back and tell us all about how Boise State is beginning to make a dent in OU's storied history. Until then, please save it for your fellow fans in Idaho because the rest of us don't want to hear it until then.
