Sometimes you're the bug sometimes you're the windshield. Lately I've been the bug. Fantasy golf's a total crap shoot... 

Just my friggin luck. Replaced McDowell at the last minute... 

Looks like I won't win this week, my opponent has too many pitchers compared to mine.  In addition one of his pitchers just had a heck of game totaling 40.5 points:(


  

Sorry KB. PSR's just happened that way. Didn't add any new pitching this wk. Dickey is dealing. Took a flyer on him in the draft & even at his age he's turned into one of the best this season.

Fantasy Football did we have 10 or 12 teams last year??

Free Football leagues are always 12 teamers.  3 divisions -  4 teams.  Usually my team is on the bottom.  LOL. 

The Open.  What a golf tournament.  Who doesn't like Ernie?  so i'm happy for him.  But Adam Scott, what a heartbreaker.  He SEEMS like a good guy (can never be 100% sure anymore, of course).  Hopefully he has a McIllroy type bounceback sometime soon. 

Sunday was not good for my golf team.  I has been making some progress up the leaderboard prior to Sunday. 

This baseball season has been a complete mystery to me.  I just can't get going, in either league.  I'd have to go on a rest-of-the-season win streak to get into playoff contention, I think. 

If you guys do a college football league, please let me know.  Those are usually alot of fun too. 

If it makes you feel any better Mutiny, I haven't yet to have a winning season in Fantasy Football league even though I haven't played one in a long while.  Maybe this the year we will have a good winning season.

As for our FB football league, I hope it will be full before its deadline.

Hey Blackrain - it doesn't make me feel any better!!!  LOL.  It's all good though, my lack of success at fantasy football doesn't diminish my interest in playing.  I love it.  If I do have a successful season, it'll be all the more sweeter.  I'll operate under the assumption that you and I are DUE for a great season. 

I don't plan on playing fantasy football this year.  At least, not on CBS, I have 3 pay leagues I am in.  If it turns out you need someone to fill the league out, let me know.  Sorry, but I am busy lately and the pay leagues will be more than enough.

Back on top in the current golf session!  at least for now.  Bubba will probably cost me the lead though, that nutjob.  I'd like to catch up to that smacktalker MattaMania in the 70's League.  That guy is too smug.  He needs a come-uppance.  LOL. 

I'm getting ready for some football!!!!!  Players dropping left and right.  Guys not in camp.  getting injured.  getting arrested.  getting fined.  makes you wonder who to draft???  I may go with a WR corp of Ocho, Mossy, and TO.  OLD SKOOL!

As predicted, my golf pinnacle was short lived, just like my real pinnacle on a course with OB left and water right.  i didn't just lose the lead, I got Lapped! 

football, baseball, golf.  it's fantasy nirvana!!!!

With the Wednesday night action, the NFL season has begun.  I'm already PO'ed at one of my players.  Victor Cruz dropped more passes than some WRs get targetted in a week.  Demarco Murray runs wild but not into the end zone. 

In golf, in order to make up ground on the field, i've resorted to picking the non-favorites, no Tiger, no Stricker, none of the obvious choices, except Rory as a reserve, I'm crazy not stoopid. 

Baseball & golf are over this wk (thank God because I zeroed out Rory, Tiger, DJohnson etc). Baseball playoffs next for the lucky 4 - looks like Dave C, Blackrain & Mich for sure & probably Dave T. Good luck to all - & on with football!

I'm in the running to make the playoff's in Baseball in all 3 of my leagues...that would be fun but I have to win this week first.



Sadly for me there will be NO Hockey (NHL) this year........I hate Gary Bettman.

Good to see you Larry! And great news about your baseball fantasy. Not sure if my team is in or not - depends on if CBS counts overall wins or points out of first as determining criteria. I'm second in my div & second in points out of first, but there's two in the other division with more wins (not including the div leader). Looks like it's wait & see LOL!

It'd be great if CBS brings back fantasy golf, but I haven't heard that rumor yet. They lose a lot of folks every year to Yahoo because of that lame decision a couple years back to dump it.
