Hold on there gogators....the reason redsoxfan spouts such crap is simple...he is a red sox fan. Don't go generalizing all yankees like that. I can prove it wrong. Born and bred in new england...lived for 7 years in florida...even my oldest son was born there, the day before the big fl-ga game of 84. I live in ohio now, and while I may root for the buckeyes in the big ten...the gators still hold my heart. I remind the guys at work constantly that the SEC is s different, harder, and stronger brand of football than the big 10 plays. Now if michigan could have persuaded les miles to come north, well then maybe they would start catching up faster. But until they drop the 4 yards and a cloud of dust mantra, they never will.
Ohio State did get one thing for itself. The first NCAA division 1 school to lose 3 straight national chamionships to schools from the same conference. Now there's a record to be proud of......NOT! Incidentally, it was reported on local news that about 30 fans showed up to greet the team when it came home ....ahhhh ohio, home of the fair weather fan!!!!!!!!!

Congrats for being in the position to be there, but give it up for LSU and the conference it battles every year. We get it done every weekend, some ooc games are gimme's, but we still have to contend with the entire conference, as the schedule falls.
I do give it up to you for being a big enough guy to come get your crow!
Don't ever call me a fair weather fan. I'll gladly take two national championship appearences. Would I have liked one or two titles to go with them? Absolutely. But don't be hating on my Bucks because they got there. Oh by the way, we may very well be back again next year, and I'll be watching.

its the big ten that does not want a playoff. its because they know they suck and know that they would never have a champion. The big ten are like communists, they want every conference to share bcs teams. In a playoff, it would have been georgia vs lsu. UGA would kill USC.
BTW, why does everyone kiss USC's A$S? everyone talks about how great they have been recently but all they have ever done is win 1 NC. Just like UF, Miami, OU, and Texas. They play a really really weak schedule in a conference that is worse than the big ten. USC is way overhyped. Next year will be the same, well make excuses for why usc did not win the title again.

Also, the guy that caused you to go off on the "yankee" rant is from Indiana. I don't see why you'd go off on SoCal and the Northeast. Other than the entertainment industry, SoCal is fairly "red", just like your beloved South.
