Ok, now finally this weekend, the AL East shapes up as expected, with the Rays, Sox and Yanks ascending.  Can we now have a few good rivalry games, please?  I still like the gritty Orioles and expect the whole group to beat each other black and blue.

A Youk-less Sox would feel strange.

Ok, I get it.  Bit of a funk, gNats, now Marlins.  Josh had 1st inning trouble.  Too good a team to stay down for long.

It's ok to still post, Rooters is still serving lemonade.

Facing a lot of tough pitching lately. Youk and Dusty struggling, A_Gone gone limp. Think it was Fri night, A-Gone homered and got robbed of another. Thought he finally figured it out but nooooooooo




Just sucks, they went 10-3 or whatever,  got me all believin' and stuff and then they lose 4 straight....3 at home....

Back from vacationing, who knows how long til another one comes around. Hope everyone is well. Nice to see the Yanks at the top of the standings, wish I could say I got to see a lot of their current win streak but I haven't. Hope they can keep it going so I get a taste of it also. Looks like Gardner hit another setback, crappy news. Would like to see him back sometime soon.

Always liked Youk.  He played hard and cared.  Some would argue too much.

Pardon the cliche' but the Sox endure yet another Boston Massacre at the hands of the dreaded Evil Empire Yankees....

9 1/2 games out and back to .500 ball just in time for the break.  And let's not forget the ubiquitous post-break swan dive our Sox have such a knack for - and the pending results are just disastrous....As Bill Murray would say, "And then depression set in."
