We got the Flyers!! Should be a good physical series! Our goaltending {tuuka} has been phenominal!! You're right Bengal, if we play 100% balls out we can run with anybody!

I agree bengal I would much rather have Thorton than Wheeler...I just don't see Wheeler standing tall against a physical Flyers team. For aguy Wheelers size he is just to soft, and easy to get the puck off of....and I rarely see the fire or intensity with Wheeler. I think they owuld be better off to start the series with Thorton, without him in the line up, there is no tough treat in the Bruins line up...think it would be a bad move.

WOW!  Perhaps the new turn of events and the Bruins now playing the Flyers, CJ will opt for Shawn Thornton in the lineup... he would add a lot more versus the physical Flyers.  Canadiens look like the counterpunch I thought they were, and Halak stodd on his head with help from every one on the Canadiens teams... the announcers were coming up with a stat early in the 3rd period saying the Habs blocked 30 shots!  I did not hear how many it was by the end, but needless to say the Caps easily had over 60 potential shots ( counting the blocks)  and could not score on Halak.
This series will be a bit harder for the Bruins... the Flyers are built very similar in that they have depth at every position ... goalie is their weakness.  But they can replaced injured or tired players as easily as Boston... Sabres couldn't replace Vanek,  and I am pretty sure Penguins are gambling they do not have to replace Sidney Crosby... but Flyers have the even lines all the way down like Boston... so this should be 100% effort by both squads the entire series.
Come on Bruins!

I agree NS, Thorton should play, wheeler should sit. One advantage the Flyers have is two stud Dmen in Pronger and Timonen both guys play almost 30 minutes. Boychuk has played great. If the B's get Stuart back that would be huge. Last year going into the playoffs I thought the B's would win it all. This year I thought they'd lose in the 1st rnd. What the hell do I know. Go B's

I agree about sitting Wheeler instead of Thronton if Julien sees that Wheeler or anybody is being push around am sure he'll make some line changes. It's going to be a tough series but am picking the Bruins to take it in six games and like i said before the playoffs started that this team will make it to the Eastern Conference Finals. It would really be awesome to see the Habs vs the Bruins in the Conference Finals. First off lets take care of the Flyers! HERE WE GO BRUINS! HERE WE GO!
