Good Hump Day Morning GB10, who's ready to play let's make a deal????...ANYONE??? ANYONE???Undecided

Since the Flyers were eliminated and I don't care about the NBA, I've decided to focus on highlighting the things that I've learned over the last few days:

My dog is getting to the age where he can't be trusted with full range of the entire house...especially when thunderstorms are in the forecast

The GB10 still is entertaining if only because there isn't anyone that I'm close to (outside of my old friends from high school that I rarely see anymore) that I can talk sports and shit**** to without having to worry about how I'm perceived

Chase Headley stinks and will never ever be on my roster again

My team will lose to Dave this week not only because he has 11 SPs to my 6 SPs, but because Josh Hamilton and Carlos Beltran could single handedly carry his team when they are healthy and getting pitches to hit

Don't panic when a team catches Lightning in a bottle against me...still trust my strategy and skill that I will make the playoffs and then anything can happen.

A nice large piece of humble pie tastes much better when you sit atop the division standings.

Looking forward to some afternoon baseball today, but not until after a 90 minute meeting to get my project moving forward again...this MSE step is taking forever.Frown

He has pitched very well and I would covet him in a ROTO league because he's solid in multiple categories and won't likely implode killing your chances to win the week, but in a head-to-head league where wins are so critical to the success of a SP, he is much more risky since the Cubs are a maginal team at best.  His saving grace is that playing in the NL Central, only the Cardinals really are playing great ball right now so as long as he is healthy, he certainly deserves to be on a roster.

I had put in a waiver claim for him as well in hopes of keeping him off of Tony's roster when I play him next week, but since you beat me to him, I grabbed the other viable two-start SP (Jake Westbrook) and to be honest will be very interested in their matchup against each other next week.
